Euan Blair is a British entrepreneur and the co-founder and chief executive officer of Multiverse, an educational technology company set up in 2016 that provides employer-led apprenticeships in data, technology and business roles. Blair studied ancient history at the University of Bristol and later completed a master’s degree at Yale University. Early in his career, he worked in strategy and training roles, including at Morgan Stanley and in the US Congress.
He launched Multiverse with the aim of offering a high-quality alternative to the traditional university pathway by combining on-the-job learning, mentorship and employer partnerships. Under his leadership, the firm raised major funding rounds (including a Series D in 2022 that valued the company at about £1.4bn) and expanded internationally, placing thousands of learners with more than 1,500 employers.
Blair’s strategic focus has emphasised how skills and workforce development must align with technology adoption and business transformation. He has spoken publicly about the need to train talent for AI and data roles and to open pathways beyond conventional degree routes. Blair continues to steer Multiverse’s global growth, working to scale its apprenticeship model, extend its curriculum into new tech-driven domains and build talent pipelines that support digital economies.
