Overcoming the challenges to growing mid-sized businesses
Venue:
OakNorth HQ London
Date:
6 June, 2024
8.30am – 11am
More than 800,000 companies are started in the UK each year, but only a few go on to become billion-pound businesses. Our ambition – one shared by our partner OakNorth Bank – is to help more companies achieve their potential. To do that, we want to bring the community of entrepreneurs, founders and leaders together to talk about the challenges they face and get advice on how to overcome them.
This event will do just that. Over breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to network with peers and discuss and share your journeys. And we’ll be running a panel discussion with leaders at Deliciously Ella, Total Fitness and Mowgli Street Food, so you can hear first-hand from them how they build their businesses, the challenges they faced, and how they overcame them.
The panellists: Nisha Katona Restaurateur, author, presenter Matthew Mills CEO and co-founder, Deliciously Ella Tom Rayner CFO, Total Fitness Greg Manson Director, debt finance, OakNorth Bank
Panel Chair:Sarah Vizard Deputy editor-in-chief, Business Leader
The event is open to CEOs, founders, owners, CFOs and finance directors of businesses with an annual turnover of between £5m and £150m who are looking to secure new funding or seeking to scale up their organisation.
Please note that spaces for this event are limited and you will need a confirmation email to attend.
